Youth Villages Backpack Heroes

“LGA has been serving and supporting Youth Villages incredibly well for many years now. I am so overjoyed by their recent volunteering efforts to help us prepare backpacks full of supplies for our young people who don’t have the means to afford these necessary materials. Several groups of employees attended our volunteers shifts and made a considerable difference for us as we were challenged to provide supplies for nearly 300 youth! The Backpack Heroes drive was a total success thanks in large part to LGA folks as donors and volunteers.” – Sarah Rielly, Volunteer and Donor Engagement Coordinator

Sharon Masse, LGA’s Operations Manager remarked, “This has been my third year involved with the Youth Villages Backpack Heroes initiative and it is a project that our team members here at LGA look forward to. We had team members who sponsored a child – filling a backpack with school supplies, others who made a monetary donation, and a group of individuals who volunteered to assist with the sorting/packing of backpacks at the Youth Villages location in Woburn. It’s nice to know that these kids have what they need to begin their school year and we are always happy to help out!”
