Welcoming William Colangeli

LGA proudly welcomes William Colangeli to the firm! William will be joining as a Tax Partner, focusing on servicing his existing clients as well as the firm’s diverse owner-managed business and individual tax clients. John Geraci, LGA’s Managing Partner said “We are excited to have William join our team here at LGA, and look forward to working with and supporting his clients. William began his career in 1986 as an accountant at Brown, Altman & Company, CPAs before forming O’Malley and Colangeli, CPAs PC in 1993 with his Partner, Mike O’Malley. In 2017, William formed Colangeli, LLC, and together with his wife Elaine, and co-workers Laura Lauria and Mary Connell, CPA, continued to grow the practice by establishing a reputation of serving as a trusted advisor to the clients that they service. William sensed it was time to find a strategic partnership that could provide a broader range of services to support his clients’ ever-growing needs, leading to his decision to merge his practice with LGA.

When asked why he felt LGA would be a good fit for him and his clients William stated, “LGA has a reputation for investing in their culture and their ‘people’ – those who work there and the clients that they serve. It’s very important to me to work in an environment that sees these as top priorities. Respect in the workplace is big for me, and I feel it is big for LGA as well. It’s also going to be very beneficial to have additional resources that I can offer to clients through LGA’s various service lines.”
