LGA Partner Janine Danielson, CPA Honored as MassCPAs 2022 Women to Watch: Experienced Leader

October 27, 2022 (Woburn, MA) – LGA is excited to announce Janine Danielson, CPA, Partner, Managing Director of Outsourced Management Accounting, was honored as a 2022 Women to Watch: Experienced Leader by the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MassCPAs) at their 2022 Women’s Leadership Summit on October 25, 2022, at the Westin in Waltham. These prestigious awards honor women who have made significant contributions to the accounting profession, their organizations, their community, and in the development of women as leaders. Janine was recognized in the Experienced Leader category.

Since Joining LGA in 1989, Janine has led many facets of the firm’s growth. In addition to Janine’s technical roles, she served as the Firm Administrator and led HR initiatives for the firm before transitioning to the Managing Director of the firm’s Outsourced Management Accounting practice. During her tenure as the Managing Director of Outsourced Management Accounting, Janine built a team and go-to-market strategy that led to double-digit growth every year since taking on this service line.

Throughout LGA’s history, Janine has led the on-campus recruiting activities of the firm and is a champion of the firm’s commitment and focus on our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. Janine is also passionate about educating students about the benefits of a career in public accounting and has spoken extensively at various college and university student-run clubs and associations. In addition, Janine champions the firm’s Women’s Affinity Group to build camaraderie and support for the successful progression and promotion of women within the firm. She is regarded as the ultimate team player by her peers and will assume any role asked of her that’s in the firm’s best interest. She has also coached and mentored numerous colleagues to progress in their careers.

Janine is active in various philanthropic and professional membership organizations, including the Massachusetts Society of CPAs and the AICPA. She serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of Women’s Lunch Place and as a Board Member of the Bentley Executive Club. Janine was also the 2019 recipient of the Harry C. Bentley Alumni Achievement Award, awarded to alumni who embody the spirit and vision of Bentley’s founder in the areas of professional, community, and Bentley achievements. She is a relationship-first human, leader, and colleague who invests her time in going beyond the surface with the team members and organizations she works with, bringing authenticity and a refreshing personal connection.
