Every quarter LGA donates to an organization fighting for social justice and racial equality. This February, in honor of celebrating Black History Month we decided to support one of our clients, a Black owned business, by purchasing food from Chef Chris Viaud’s restaurant Greenleaf of Milford, NH. We knew we wanted to incorporate another way to give back as part of this donation and take it a step further – so we worked with Chef Chris to identify a nonprofit to give the food to. He chose to give the food we purchased to the Southern NH Medical Center to help support and fuel healthcare workers on the front lines of the pandemic.

At LGA we know that giving back to our community is what helps keep us connected, grounded and humble. Our goal going forward is to keep coming up with innovative and meaningful ways to continue this trend of giving back. Chef Chris Viaud put it perfectly, “We must remember that it is important to acknowledge that change needs to happen and it all begins with using your voice and taking a stand for what is right. We all need to do our part to encourage a new way of thinking and interacting with one another. Try to reflect on your own actions and openly converse with others on ways we can improve by coming together and treating each other with equal love and respect.” – Chef Chris Viaud.
