Rashida joined LGA as a Partner in the tax practice in 2022. She works closely with small businesses and individuals, providing accounting and tax services tailored to their specific needs. Rashida has experience serving a variety of industries, including manufacturing, restaurants and hotels, legal and medical practices, real estate development, and management and brokerage services. Her hands-on approach allows her to build strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as a close advisor for their financial and business matters.

Rashida focuses on helping her clients improve their business efficiency and better understand the financial aspects of their operations, ensuring that they can make informed decisions that support growth and success. She also assists with accurate tax reporting for Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) transactions and corporate stock options.

In addition to her work with clients, Rashida has served as a CFO for a multinational start-up, where she set up internal accounting policies and procedures, trained staff on sound accounting practices per FASB regulations, and oversaw the financial and operational affairs of the company. She is also an adjunct accounting professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she shares her knowledge and experience with the next generation of accountants.
